Our client, Frigolanda Warehousing, is looking for an experienced logistics team leader to join their operations in Oosterhout.

Job Description

As a Logistics Team Leader, you will be the linchpin of the logistics department. You’ll manage and motivate a team of warehouse workers, order pickers, forklift drivers, and logistics staff to ensure a smooth and efficient logistics operation.

You’ll work closely with various departments — from operations to management — to continuously improve processes, safety, and sustainability in the logistics chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a logistics team on the shop floor
• Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other departments
• Conduct formal discussions and lead team meetings
• Develop, present, and implement improvement plans
• Monitor and optimize inventory, equipment use, and transport planning

Note that the salary for the position is €17.35 per hour. The average workweek consists of 38 hours, but candidates may opt for optional work on Saturdays. The candidate must be able to stay for the entire employment period (holidays discussed with the client)

Candidate Requirements

• Driver's licence
• Proven experience in logistics or warehouse operations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with forklifts, reach trucks, and inventory systems
• Able to lead diverse teams, including forklift drivers and planners
• Constantly seek process improvements and efficiency
• Team player with hands-on mentality
