Are you an experienced Car Mechanic or Diagnostic Technician with strong troubleshooting skills? For Van Mossel Automotive Group, one of the largest automotive companies in Europe, we are looking for a skilled technician to join the Peugeot/Citroën dealership in Heemskerk.

You will work in a professional, modern workshop where you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing both mechanical and electrical vehicle faults.

As a Diagnostic Technician / Car Mechanic, you will be one of the technical specialists within the workshop. Using modern diagnostic and measuring equipment, you will identify faults, determine the correct repair method, and ensure vehicles are repaired according to manufacturer standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical vehicle faults
• Performing repairs and technical maintenance
• Using modern diagnostic and measuring equipment
• Analyzing technical problems and determining the required repairs
• Troubleshooting electronic and mechanical vehicle systems
• Supporting other mechanics with more complex technical issues
• Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and quality standards
• Contributing to technical improvements within the workshop

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced automotive professional who can work accurately and independently.

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Car Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Diagnostic Technician
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
• Experience with automotive diagnostic equipment
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and efficiently
• Relevant automotive technical education, preferably equivalent to Dutch MBO Level 3
• Full-time availability
• APK certification is an advantage; alternatively, you should be willing to obtain it
• Willingness to share technical knowledge and support colleagues

Experience with Peugeot, Citroën or other modern passenger-car brands is an advantage but not a must!

• Salary: approximately €3,000 – €3,500 gross per month, depending on experience and technical knowledge, neto after all deductions – approximately €615 – €670
