As a Portal Truck Driver (Portaalwagenchauffeur), you will be responsible for transporting construction and demolition waste using a portal truck with a combined trailer.

Your tasks include:

• Collecting and transporting waste containers (4, 6, and 10 m³)
• Delivering and picking up 7–12 containers per day
• Serving both private and business clients
• Unloading full containers at the sorting hall
• Working closely with the planning department and site supervisors
• Starting your workday between 06:00 and 07:00
• Occasionally working on Saturdays

You mainly work Monday to Friday, with possibilities for overtime or switching to other driving disciplines. Part-time work is also possible.

Job Requirements

• Valid CE driving license, Code 95, and driver card
• At least 2+ years of experience in a similar driving position
• Experience driving a portal truck
• Experience with molenstel / triangel / schamel is a plus
• Good physical condition (physically demanding work)
• Social, friendly, punctual, and hands-on attitude
• Private transport preferred

Working Conditions

• Average 50 working hours per week
• Working hours mainly between 06:00 – 18:00
• Heavy to average physical work
• You are home every day and sleep in company-arranged housing
• Suitable for men and women

Salary & Benefits

• Net salary: €800 – €1000 per week, based on experience
• Salary scale D6 from 4 years of experience
• Annual bonus system “Hapcoins”: approx. €500–€600 net per year
• Working clothes provided by Van Happen
• Safety shoes provided
• Private transport preferred (car or bike; support possible)
• Housing provided in typical Dutch accommodation

• Start with a temporary contract
• Strong possibility of a permanent contract or takeover by Van Happen
