The company is a well-known business with over 400 stores across 17 countries, offering home accessories, furniture, kitchen utensils, hobby items, toys, and seasonal products). Currently, they are looking for warehouse workers to join their team.

Job Overview

As a Warehouse Worker in the company's brand-new Venlo E-commerce warehouse, you will ensure the efficient and safe handling, storage, and dispatch of goods to support timely deliveries while upholding company values of aesthetics, creativity, and joy of life. You will work across three primary departments:

• Inbound: Receiving incoming goods. Having a forklift, reach truck, or EPT certificate is a great advantage, or you must be willing to learn these skills (includes 1 week of training).
• Picking: Collecting goods for shipment using a pick-to-light system (includes 2 days of training).
• Packing: Preparing goods for shipment (includes 2 days of training).

Until mid-October, you will work in a two-shift system. Starting from mid-October, transitioning to a three-shift system is mandatory.

During high season, working extra hours on weekends may be required.

In addition to the base salary, workers get a 20% shift allowance per worked hour applies when working in three shifts.

A 25% addition applies for hours worked between 19:00 and 06:00 (note: if you receive the general 3-shift allowance, you will not receive this separate 25% addition).

Overtime Pay:

• • 50% addition for working Monday to Saturday.
  • 100% addition for working on Sundays.

Free breakfast available every Tuesday and Thursday between 9:00 and 10:00. Access to a Quality Check Place where available products can be taken home at no cost. There's also an option to join a daily lunch meal plan for €3 per day (no dinner served).

Commuting is done via electric bicycle over a distance of approximately 11 km one way. Candidates must know how to ride a bicycle.

Requirements:

• Shift Flexibility: Availability to work in a two-shift system initially, with a mandatory transition to a three-shift system starting in mid-October.
• Language & Attitude: A positive, inclusive attitude aligning with the company's "Sister spirit," with readiness to undergo training for inbound, picking, or packing roles.
• Seasonal Availability: Ability to work full-time through the end of the year (with potential extension into January) and flexibility for weekend overtime during the high season.
• Accommodation: Willing to share a room with other tenants
• Partner: Willing to work in different shifts with partner
