The client is a leading producer of high-quality, fresh and fresh-frozen food-to-go products, including wraps, sandwiches, salads, and paninis.

As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for checking finished products coming off the production line, verifying labels,

sorting items into correct crates, and accurately preparing customer orders.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Checking finished products to ensure proper quality and accurate labeling.
• Placing packaged items into designated crates efficiently.
• Picking customer orders according to detailed order lists.
• Utilizing an automated light-guided system above crates to identify correct items and quantities (no voice-picking).
• Keeping the workspace organized, clean, and adhering to strict food hygiene standards.
• Collaborating with production and warehouse team members to maintain daily dispatch schedules.

In addition to the gross hourly wage, employees will receive the following overtime & weekend multipliers

• Overtime (after 38 hours/week): 125%
• Saturday before 12:00: 100%
• Saturday after 12:00: 134%
• Sundays & Public Holidays: 200%

The working temperature is 12 °C in the production area and 7 °C in the warehouse (chilled environment).

Free fresh sandwiches and wraps are provided in the staff canteen.

Candidate Requirements

• You must wear long trousers and closed shoes. No jewelry, false nails, or eyelashes are allowed in food production!
• Experience & Mindset: Responsible, motivated, and detail-oriented mindset; no prior order picking experience required.
• Physical Stamina: Good physical stamina to work comfortably in a chilled environment (7°C – 12°C) and manage continuous standing/walking.
• Accuracy: Ability to read labels, check products, and follow order lists with close attention to detail.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as required.
• Commitment: Available and committed for a minimum period of 6 months.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common areas (kitchen, bathroom)
