Our client is seeking a hands-on Harvest Team Leader / Team Leader join their team.

In this role, you will work directly alongside your team in the greenhouse, leading by example to ensure daily crop care activities are executed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on Crop Care: Perform and guide daily tasks such as harvesting, leaf removal, lowering, and turning tomato plants.
• Team Guidance: Act as the primary point of contact and provide day-to-day direction to team members.
• Operations & Tracking: Register work activities using digital applications and safely move heavy harvest trolleys within the greenhouse.
• Greenhouse Duties: Execute all standard greenhouse tasks and support coordinating additional crop care activities as needed.

Schedule & Availability:

• • Start work early in the morning (Working hours: 07:00 – 17:00).
  • Work one Saturday morning every three weeks.
  • Participate in an on-call/standby duty rotation.
  • Minimum of 37.5 hours per week, with options for overtime.

Requirements

• Experience: Prior relevant experience in a team leader or supervisory role.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have your own car available (travel distance one-way is within 40 km).
• Attitude: Proactive, hands-on, independent, quality-focused, flexible, and reliable.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a good command of the English language.
• Cultural Fit: Enjoys working and communicating with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Physical Requirements: Physically fit and comfortable working in a greenhouse environment.
