Our client is an industry-leading company specializing in the plastic recycling and packaging sector. Operating out of a large-scale facility in Zaandam, the company manufactures high-quality plastic containers used extensively across commercial sectors. About the Role

As a Production Employee, you will work directly at the end of the production conveyor belts. Your primary focus will be on quality assessment, handling, and organizing finished thermoformed plastic products to ensure they meet Hordijk's high standard of excellence before distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Conveyor Belt Processing: Process, sort, and handle plastic containers directly from the moving production belt.
• Quality Inspection: Use a "good eye" to meticulously check for structural faults, imperfections, or production deviations in the plastic containers.
• Packaging: Securely pack approved products into designated boxes for shipment.
• Safety & Hygiene: Maintain an orderly work area and follow standard safety protocols.

The base salary for the role is €14.80 gross per hour (for candidates aged 20+).but employees can earn extra pay automatically based on their schedule:

• • Double Shift (2-shift system): +15% bonus on top of your base hourly wage.
  • Triple Shift (3-shift system): +20% bonus on top of your base hourly wage.

Shift Schedule: Structured hours consisting of:

• • Morning: 06:00 – 14:30
  • Afternoon: 14:30 – 22:30
  • Night: 22:30 – 06:00

Breaks: 1 hour of unpaid rest time per shift.

Equipment Supplied: Professional work clothes, specialized safety shoes, and earplugs are provided completely free of charge by the agency (E&A).

Requirements

• Experience and forklift certification is mandatory;
• Language Skills: A communicative level of English is required to understand instructions and safety procedures.
• Commitment: Looking for reliable candidates interested in stable, longer-term employment (minimum stay of 6 months).
• Shift Flexibility: Prepared to start in a 2-shift system (morning and afternoon). High-performing employees who are interested can eventually transition into a 3-shift rotation, though this is not mandatory.
• Accommodation: Willingness to live in a shared room and share common residential areas like the kitchen and bathroom.
• Partners & Shifts: Readiness to work in separate shifts and different departments if you choose to apply together with a friend or a partner.
