We are looking for experienced car mechanics for different garages in the Netherlands.

You will work in a dealer garage or universal garage, carrying out diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on passenger cars. The exact duties may vary depending on the garage and your experience.

Your responsibilities may include

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out maintenance and general repairs
• Working with diagnostic equipment
• Repairing brakes, engines, clutches and steering systems
• Repairing suspension and drivetrain components
• Replacing wheel bearings, timing-system components, oils and fluids
• Performing tyre changes, wheel alignment and vehicle-geometry checks
• Repairing ABS systems and vehicle electronics
• Reading technical reports and following garage repair procedures
• Working on electric vehicles, where applicable

You do not need experience with every task listed above. Recruiters will match your skills and experience with a suitable garage.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years relevant experience as a car mechanic
• Ability to work independently and accurately
• Technical education or mechanic qualification is preferred
• Experience in a dealer or universal garage is an advantage
• VCA certificate is an advantage, or willingness to obtain one
