For Van Horssen B.V., a company specializing in roofing work, we are looking for a motivated Assistant Roof Worker. You do not need to be an experienced roofer, but you should be handy, physically fit, proactive, and comfortable working outdoors and at heights.

You will support experienced roofers on different projects. Your tasks will include installing insulation and roofing materials, demolition work, preparing and handing over tools and materials, and other general roofing activities.

Please keep in mind that this is primarily outdoor work performed on roofs and at heights.

What are you going to do?

• Assist experienced roofers with daily activities
• Install insulation materials
• Assist with installing roofing materials
• Carry out light demolition work
• Prepare and hand over tools and materials
• Help prepare and organize the worksite
• Work safely outdoors and at heights
• Occasionally assist in the indoor tarp workshop during quieter periods
• Travel between different project locations

Requirements:

• You are handy and technically minded
• You have experience in construction, roofing,
• You are physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• You are comfortable working at heights
• You are proactive and willing to help your colleagues
• You can work independently as well as in a team
• You are safety-conscious and responsible

What do we offer?

• €500–€600 net per week, depending on ET rules and your personal situation
• Base salary of €17.19 gross per hour
• Overtime paid at 135%
• Full-time work from Monday to Friday
• Working hours generally between 06:00 and 17:00
• Occasional Saturday work depending on the project
• Varied work at different project locations
