The client is a globally recognized lifestyle and outdoor brand celebrated for premium footwear, apparel, and gear.
This is a high-energy warehouse environment that offers fantastic weekly hours, professional equipment training, and a structured, safe international team culture.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, combined logistics role that blends active warehouse operations with high-level machinery handling.
You will start as a warehouse employee, learn the core workflows, and quickly transition into operating specialized order-picking machinery (such as PL, PLL, EPT,
and high-altitude order picker trucks) once you pass Timberland’s internal certification.
Please note: This is an active combination function. Even after mastering the vehicles, operators smoothly step off the trucks to assist with manual department tasks whenever operational volume requires it.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Altitude Order Picking: Safely operate specialized order-picker trucks that elevate you up to 15 meters in the air along electromagnetic tracks
- Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Assist with loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning incoming/outgoing cargo shipments, specifically supporting the physically intensive Expedition and Inbound departments.
- Inventory Control: Move bulk products efficiently using Electric Pallet Trucks (EPT) and low-lift machinery.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain full compliance with automated warehouse workflows and safety protocols.
Shift allowances:
-
- Hours worked between 18:00 – 24:00: +24% allowance
- Hours worked after 00:00 (Midnight): +40% allowance
Overtime Rates:
- Saturdays: 150% total pay (50% extra allowance)
- Sundays: 200% total pay (Double pay)
Paid Professional ITM Training: The client provides a comprehensive, 1-week, fully paid internal training course (ITM).
External certificates cannot be used immediately, but passing this internal training unlocks the license to drive every specialized logistics vehicle in the facility.
Requirements
- A clean criminal record certificate (from the last 6 months) is already needed in the application process.
- No Fear of Heights: Absolute comfort working at heights up to 15 meters in the air, as you will rise directly into the racks along with your machine's forks.
- Height Requirement: A minimum height of 1.70 meters (170 cm) is required due to the physical layout of the trucks, ensuring operators can safely reach items stacked on the top shelf layer.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand comfortably throughout the entire 9-hour shift and handle physically demanding manual logistics work (lifting, pushing, and pulling items).
- Language Skills: Competent proficiency in English, Dutch, or German, candidates must be fully able to read, speak, and understand safety guidelines, instructional videos, and team briefings.
- Safety Test: On first workday, you will watch an official Timberland Health & Safety video and complete a mandatory understanding test to unlock floor access.
- Accommodation: Willingness to live in standard agency-managed shared accommodation and share common residential areas like the kitchen and bathroom.
- Couples Welcome: Couples and friends are welcome to apply! While you will not be placed in the same physical department to maintain team balance, scheduling coordinates to ensure you work the same shift rotation.
