PMC Staalbouw BV is expanding its production team and is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Welder / Steel Fabricator to strengthen our workshop crew. At PMC Staalbouw, we take pride in delivering durable, tailor-made steel structures for a wide range of sectors — including commercial buildings, agricultural facilities, and equestrian accommodations.

We believe in quality, precision, and teamwork. As part of our workshop team, you’ll play a crucial role in turning engineering concepts into reality. From raw steel to finished frames, you’ll help shape the backbone of every project.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assembling and welding structural steel components according to technical drawings
• Performing high-quality MIG/MAG welding (Process 135) on various steel structures
• Working with steel profiles including beams, tubes, and plates
• Ensuring correct fit-up and alignment of parts before welding
• Conducting visual quality checks and adhering to safety and fabrication standards
• Operating workshop tools and machinery, including overhead cranes and forklifts
• Collaborating with other welders and fabricators on complex assemblies

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience in MIG/MAG welding and steel fabrication
• Proven experience with welding process 135 (solid wire)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately and efficiently
• Experience with assembly work (not just welding)
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding quality and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

• Workplace: Inside a normal temperature warehouse
• Work Impact: Heavy work (Free fitness!)
• Shifts: 1 shift, Monday–Friday 06:45 – 17:00; overtime possible on Saturdays
• Average weekly hours: 46.25
• Gross salary/hour: €16.69 + ATV 5.24% (Net approx. €600 per week)
• Working clothes/shoes: Safety shoes €30
