Are you ready to take up a new challenge? Our client at Hessing is looking to grow their team, looking for production workers at their facility. As a production worker at Hessing, you will prepare and pack fresh vegetables and fruits.

Responsibilities

The work involves various tasks across different departments, such as:

• Washing, cutting, peeling, preparing, selecting, and sorting products.
• Checking product quality and ensuring hygiene standards.
• Mixing ingredients for salads and preparing fruit/vegetable snacks.
• Cutting products using knives or machines.
• Using pump carts, lifts, and tilting devices to move containers.

The base salary for the role is €14.40/hour, with generous shift allowances (Monday–Saturday, 19:00–00:00 → 125%, Monday–Saturday, 00:00–06:00 → 145%, Sunday → 200%).

Employees will work in three shifts (05:00–14:00, 14:00–22:30, 22:00–06:00), while weekly work hours will vary between 37.5 h (5 days) and 55 h (6 days). Accommodation is also provided near the workplace, within biking distance.

Please, note that the work is physically demanding, with crates weighing up to 20 kg. The job is performed in a cold, wet, and noisy environment (around +3°C).

Waterproof shoes, earplugs, and strict hygiene rules are mandatory.

Requirements

• Willingness to work in a cold, humid environment.
• Ability to follow strict hygiene and safety rules (no jewellery, piercings, dreadlocks; hair, beard, and moustache must be covered).
• Physically fit to handle heavy lifting.
• Motivated for long-term employment.
