Our client operates a major distribution hub specialized in the storage and logistics of frozen food products. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Reach Truck / Forklift Driver to manage inventory movement across the warehouse and specialized cold storage units.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate reach trucks and/or forklifts to move, stack, and relocate palletized goods within the warehouse facility.
• Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks.
• Inventory Storage: Store and organize incoming food products (such as bread, processed meats, nuts, and seafood) in designated ambient and cold storage zones.
• Order Fulfillment: Assist with order picking and manually stack products whenever necessary to ensure shipments are secure.

The salary for the role is €16.25/hour, with structured, predictable weekly hours across 2 shifts. This is a l;ong-term career opportunity with stability within a driving sector of the European economy.

Note that the position is based in a fast-paced cold storage warehouse. As such, part of your daily routine will take place in freezer areas where temperatures reach down to -22°C.

Full thermal protective clothing and high-quality safety equipment will be provided to ensure you stay warm and safe on the job.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience operating a reach truck and/or forklift.
• Certifications: A valid forklift/reach truck certificate is a great advantage. (Note: If your certificate is expired or you need a local one, the client can help arrange the training and certification for you!)
• Adaptability: Full willingness to work in a freezing/cold storage environment.
• Attitude: A reliable, flexible, and self-motivated work ethic.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
• Partner: Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
