About the Role

This is a specialized logistics position combining precision high-rack forklift operation with general warehouse support. You will primarily operate an open reach truck within narrow, space-optimized warehouse aisles to store and retrieve frozen goods. Because this is a collaborative team environment, you will be fully cross-trained in order picking and other warehouse duties, transitioning to these tasks flexibly when reach truck volume fluctuates.

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Reach Truck Driving: Safely navigate open reach trucks through narrow aisles to stack, store, and retrieve premium frozen products.
• Order Picking & Inventory Handling: Learn and execute order picking, sorting, and pallet preparation to ensure accurate supermarket deliveries.
• Task Flexibility: Willingly switch between reach truck operation and manual warehouse tasks depending on daily operational volume.
• Cold Storage Maintenance: Adhere to strict safety standards while working inside a deep-freeze environment.

The client rewards skill, environment, and loyalty with a clear, structured pay progression scale:

• Starting Salary: €15.35 base + €1.26 cold allowance = €16.61 gross per hour.
• After 6 Months: Base rate increases to €15.73 + €1.26 cold allowance = €16.99 gross per hour.
• After 1 Year: Base rate increases to €16.64 + €1.26 cold allowance = €17.90 gross per hour.

Premium Allowances & Overtime

• Overtime Bonus (+25%): Automatically applied to any hours worked beyond 45 hours per week OR more than 10 hours in a single day.
• Saturday Morning (Until 12:00): Paid at 150% (50% extra allowance).
• Saturday Afternoon (After 12:00): Paid at 200% (100% extra allowance).
• Benefits Package: Comfortable agency accommodation, fully managed medical insurance, and local transport to the job site are completely arranged and provided for you.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of proven experience operating a reach truck is strictly required due to the narrow layout of the warehouse aisles.
• Language Skills: English is NOT required for this position, making it an excellent opportunity for native speakers of other languages.
• High-Hour Stamina: Ability to handle heavy working hours. During peak summer seasons when it is hot outside, the work week regularly scales up to 50 or more hours.
• Holiday Availability: Commitment to the business during peak seasons—please note that you do not get time off during Christmas in your first year of employment.
