Important: For this job, we provide a VCA safety course free of charge, which is mandatory for starting work.

Job Description

ACCN processes residues, like bottom ash, from household waste incineration to recover valuable metals and materials. This is physical work performed outdoors (under covered stations) in a dusty environment. Workers rotate between different positions:

• Conveyor Belt: Removing stainless steel and copper from waste material and placing it into containers.
• Feeding Bunker & Sieve: Cleaning material using a hook to pull loose large or stuck pieces (e.g., plastic and debris).
• Cleaning: Responsible for cleaning the machinery with a high-pressure hose during shift changes and keeping the immediate workspace clean.

Note: The work environment can be hot in the summer and cold or wet in the winter. Protective clothing is provided.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this role is €17.13 gross per hour (includes base salary of €15.03 plus 14% allowance), with 40 hours of work per week.

There are two shifts that rotate weekly, from Monday to Friday (Morning: 06:00 – 14:00 and Afternoon: 14:00 – 22:00)

Breaks: 30-minute main break and small breaks are paid.

Canteen Perks: Free coffee and tea. On Wednesdays, free soup is provided, and on Fridays, free snacks are offered.

Growth Opportunities: Longer cooperation is possible, with opportunities to grow into roles like Operator or other better positions (with corresponding salary increases). The company offers to help obtain a Forklift certificate and Shovel certificate free of charge after you start.

Requirements

• Technical Insight: Candidates who take initiative and have some technical insight are strongly preferred.
• Criminal Record: A clean criminal record (VOG) is mandatory for this position.
• VCA Certification: Required. If you don't have it, the company will cover the course cost for you.
• Protective Gear: Work clothing, rainwear, boots, safety glasses, helmet, gloves, and ear protection (provided by ACCN)
