Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for a stable, long-term role in the food industry? Our client is looking for a skilled professional to join their modern packaging and distribution center in Veenendaal.

The Role

As a Packaging Machine Operator. you will be responsible for the heart of the packaging process. Your expertise will ensure that high-quality cheese products are packed efficiently and meet strict safety standards.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Operating, setting up, and converting Multivac R535 thermoforming machines.
• Identifying and resolving technical malfunctions to keep production running smoothly.
• Monitoring and maintaining high standards for hygiene, safety, and quality.
• Recording production and order data accurately in digital systems.

The role offers a competitive salary of €17.78 per hour, with higher rates possible based on relevant experience. In addition to the salary, employees recieve a a sihft allowance of 130% after 18:00. Overtime is 1.3x rate after 36 hours on Saturdays and 2.2X rate for holidays and Sundays.

The role features a standard 36-hour work week with the opportunity for plenty of overtime. Here, you'll have the chance to work in a clean, organised, and diverse warehouse with colleagues from various nationalities.

Accommodation is provided in Veenendaal, located just 600m from the workplace (easy walking distance).

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience as a Machine Operator is required.
• Work Experience: Experience operating a packaging machine
• Language: Good command of English or Dutch.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in two shifts (standard shift is 07:00–16:00, but flexibility is needed).
• Commitment: We are looking for candidates interested in long-term cooperation.
• Mechanical Prowess: Ability to change foil/film and handle basic machine adjustments
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom).
