VIC Obdam is a company specializing in the production and assembly of heavy black steel constructions. The company focuses on delivering solid, high-quality structures with precision and reliability.

As a MIG/MAG Welder / Assembler at VIC Obdam, you will be responsible for welding and assembling heavy black steel constructions.

Your tasks will include:

• Welding and assembling black steel constructions (50% welding / 50% assembling)
• Working with material thicknesses between 5 mm and 20 mm
• Assembling based on technical drawings and occasionally using molds
• Performing multilayer welding (A8 level)
• Ensuring high-quality and clean welds

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in assembling black steel constructions
• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding black steel constructions
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Skilled in multilayer welding
• High standard of welding quality (clean and precise welds)
• Hard-working and team-oriented attitude

Terms of Employment

• Salary: €16.00 net per hour, €640 net per week (based on 40 hours), €960 net per week (based on 60 hours)
• Overtime up to 60 hours per week (regularly available)
• Weekly salary paid directly to your bank account
