As a Mechanical Fitter in yacht construction, you will be responsible for installing and assembling a wide range of mechanical systems on high-quality yachts.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of decks and floors
• Installation of steering systems and (running) rigging
• Working on piping, hosing, and drainage systems
• Installing pumps, air ducts, and HVAC systems
• Connecting generators and air conditioning systems
• Installing drinking water and blackwater systems
• Mounting deck fittings, hatchbacks, railings, and cleats

You will work as an all-round mechanic in yacht building, contributing to both new construction and system integration.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical work in yacht building
• Experience with mechanical systems such as piping, HVAC, and onboard installations
• VCA certificate (optional – can be arranged)

Employment Details

• Salary: €16.50 – €17.50 gross per hour, approx. net salary: €600 – €650 per week
• Working hours: 38 hours per week
