For one of our major clients we are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Specialist for Electric Motors.

You will work at the company's large industrial site in IJmuiden and take responsibility for electric motors used throughout the site. Your main focus will be on their maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement.

Electric motors play an important role in company's transition towards more sustainable and energy-efficient operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background who wants to further specialize in electric motors while working in a complex industrial environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain electric motors across the site
• Monitor the reliability and technical condition of equipment
• Support the analysis and resolution of failures and technical malfunctions
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
• Contribute to technical improvement and sustainability projects
• Work closely with maintenance teams and other technical disciplines
• Help ensure installations continue operating safely and efficiently

Requirements

• Technical education or professional background in electrical engineering or a related field
• Experience with or strong technical knowledge of electric motors
• At least 2 years of recent experience in maintenance within an industrial or technical environment
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and solution-oriented working attitude
• Willingness to further develop your technical knowledge
• Able to work effectively with different technical teams
