We are looking for a motivated and reliable Line Operator to join the production team at Danish Crown. You will be working in meat production (5–6°C environment) and play a key role in ensuring efficiency, quality, and smooth operation of the production line.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and start up production line each morning
• Install and inspect machine knives and cutting equipment
• Operate the line according to specifications (labels, film, date, quality standards)
• Fill in hourly quality checklists (metal detection, weight, oxygen levels, yield)
• Supervise 3–6 employees on packaging lines (up to 16 on baking lines)
• Record malfunctions and product changes using the Blackbird system
• Coordinate with the shift leader on orders and planning
• Ensure cleaning and safe shutdown of machines during and after shifts
• Act as backup shift leader when needed

The salary for this role starts at €14.40/hour, but after around six weeks (2 weeks+ training), it can increase to €17.57/hour (depending on performance). This is a stable, long-term job in a professional environment.

The work environment is a meat production facility, where the working temperature is 5–6°C, This is an active, hands-on role requiring precision and leadership

Requirements

• Previous experience as a line operator is mandatory
• Strong work ethic and motivationweeks
• Handy, with some technical insight
• Ability to think ahead and take initiative
• Driver’s license (mandatory) and able to drive the company car
