Our client, Sligro is looking for an experienced forklift driver to join their team.

Job Description:

As a forklift driver, the candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of the order picking process. The main responsibilities include:

• Efficiently refilling and strategically placing new stock in designated warehouse locations using the reachtruck.
• Accurately stacking pallets on high racks.
• Placing products at optimal picking height as requested by order pickers.
• Conducting regular checks on product best before dates.
• Promptly reporting any product damage or imperfections to your manager.
• Removing empty pallets from the warehouse for shipment to our central distribution center in Veghel.
• Contributing to an efficient and organized warehouse environment by ensuring correct product placement.
• Working in various temperature zones, including chilled (+5°C) environments.

What Sligro is Looking For:

• Good inderstanding of English (B1 level).
• At least 1 year of proven experience operating a forklift and valid certificate.
• Good physical condition, capable of handling warehouse tasks.
• Having a driving license is a plus.

Note that the salary for this position is €14.81 per hour with three shifts (05:00 – 13:00, 07:00 – 15:00, 13:00 – 21:00 and attractive allowances.
