The client is a leading Dutch family-owned company specializing in the storage, sorting, packaging, and distribution of top-quality apples and pears. Operating modern cold storage facilities and advanced logistics systems, they deliver premium fruit to retailers all across Europe. At the moment, the company is looking for two EPT/Forklift drivers with valid certifications.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your main focus is keeping the facility's internal logistics moving smoothly. Key duties include:

• Operating Machinery: Primarily operating an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) for day-to-day transport, with occasional forklift operation.
• Shipping & Receiving: Safely and efficiently loading and unloading incoming/outgoing trucks in the dispatch department.
• Order Picking: Picking and preparing orders for outbound shipments.
• Cold Storage Logistics: Transporting and organizing products between different temperature-controlled cold storage facilities.

The working hours are the following:

• Monday to Friday: 07:45 – 16:30
• Saturday: 07:15 – 13:00

Apart from the base salary, employees recieve the following bonsues/allowances/overtime:

• • 125% for the first 2 hours of overtime.
  • 150% for any overtime hours beyond that, as well as all hours worked on Saturdays.

Financial Reserves:

• • 8.33% reserved vacation pay.
  • 10.82% gross reservation money built up on the first 40 hours worked.

Above all this, a generous travel cost reimbursement is provided. Housing is also arranged, and it includes your own private bedroom within a 40 km commute of the workplace.

Requirements

• Certificates: Valid, certified credentials for both EPT and Forklift are strictly mandatory.
• Mobility: A valid driver's license or your own car are required for commuting to the workplace.
• Experience: Previous experience operating warehouse transport machinery.
• Accommodation and Partners: You must be willing to share the room with other tenants if the need arises. Also, be prepared to work in different shifts with your partner if you're not arriving alone.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, stand for long periods, and work comfortably in a chilled, temperature-controlled cold storage environment.
• Safety Consciousness: A strong commitment to warehouse safety regulations and safe driving practices when operating machinery around other staff.
• Reliability and Punctuality: A professional attitude with a track record of consistent attendance and respect for shift schedules.
