We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner for a modern and professional metalworking company in Bergeijk. The company employs around 135 skilled production workers and manufactures steel and stainless-steel components and constructions for various industries. You will join a close-knit machining team of approximately 11 skilled professionals and work with modern CNC equipment.

What are you going to do?

• Independently program, set up and operate CNC lathes
• Write, modify and optimize CNC programs
• Work with CNC machines including Nakamura, Mazak and Scar
• Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders and 3D models
• Determine the correct machining strategy, tools and fixtures
• Manufacture complex and precise components
• Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, three-point micrometers and other measuring equipment
• Solve technical and machining problems on the shop floor
• Contribute ideas regarding manufacturability and process improvements
• Work with materials including aluminum, stainless steel, steel, brass and plastics
• Cooperate with colleagues to determine the most efficient production method for new products

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of proven experience as a CNC Turner
• Ability to independently program CNC machines
• Experience setting up and adjusting CNC lathes
• Experience with Nakamura, Mazak or similar machines is an advantage
• You understand clamping techniques, tooling, materials and machining conditions
• You can independently read technical drawings
• You are experienced with precision measuring equipment
• You work accurately and have strong technical insight
• You are able to troubleshoot machining and production issues
• You actively look for opportunities to improve production processes
