For our client HTM UMI in Uitgeest, we are looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer or CNC Turner Programmer.

You will produce complex, high-precision components using advanced CNC milling or turning machines, including modern 5-axis machinery. Production mainly consists of small series of up to approximately 40 pieces, so this is not repetitive mass production.

You will work with a wide variety of materials, including specialized and exotic materials, producing components ranging from approximately 15 mm up to 1,000 mm.

Important! Candidates who specialize in only milling or only turning are also welcome. If you are experienced in one area and willing to learn the other, the company is happy to support your further development.

What will you do?

• Independently produce complex and highly precise components
• Program and operate CNC milling or CNC turning machines
• Work with advanced machinery, including 5-axis CNC machines
• Set up machines, tools and workpieces for production
• Work according to technical drawings and production documentation
• Select and optimize machining methods and processes
• Work with various materials, including difficult-to-machine and exotic materials
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments
• Interpret measurement results and adjust the machining process when necessary
• Identify and solve machining and production problems
• Ensure all finished components meet strict quality requirements
• Contribute ideas to improve production efficiency and quality
• Work independently on small-batch and technically challenging projects

What are we looking for?

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a CNC Miller Programmer or CNC Turner Programmer,
• Strong experience with either CNC milling or CNC turning
• CNC programming experience
• Experience with 5-axis machining is a strong advantage
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
• Good understanding of machining methods, tools and processes
• Experience working with different types of materials
• Ability to interpret measurements and make necessary machine/process adjustments
• Accurate and independent working style
• Good technical and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, motivated and interested in developing your technical skills further

Experience with small-batch production, complex precision components, 5-axis machining or exotic materials is especially valuable.
