Job Description & Departments

Based on client needs, you will be placed at one of the Rhenus locations in Oirschot, Tilburg, or Son. Because each location features different departments and working times, flexibility is required.

The core function consists of goods receipt, order picking, performing quality checks, and preparing orders for dispatch across specialized departments:

• Multiclient Department: Handles animal products (pet food, toothpaste, tablets), various types of screws, toys, and electronic cigarettes. Order picking is performed using an EPT and hand scanner.
• Philips Department: Handles medical products (MRI scanners, medical beds, ultrasound scanners). Order picking is performed using an EPT, forklift, and reach truck.

Specific Tasks & Roles Available:

• Shipping: Loading and unloading boxes from containers (approx. 3–4 containers per day with an average weight of 20 kg). Flexible working times in shifts between 07:00 and 19:00.
• Inbound: Receiving goods, receiver activities, stacking, sorting, etc.
• Autostore: Order picking, packing, box closing, and Value-Added Services (VAS) at the autostore system.
• THV: Order picking (involves a bit more heavy lifting/lugging).
• Gore (Medical): Order picking and return processing of light, small medical products requiring meticulous accuracy.
• Cleaner: Warehouse cleaning work using a cleaning machine.
• Rework / Irobot: Handling adhesives, sealants, screws, etc., requiring technical affinity.

The standard workload is 40 hours per week (schedule between 07:00 and 19:00). Starting times and shift schedules vary depending on the assigned location and department, requiring full flexibility.

Normal working hours under 40 hours/week are paid at 100%. In addition to the base pay, you have:

Overtime Allowances:

• • Monday to Friday (>40 hours): 130%
  • Saturday (>40 hours): 150%
  • Sunday (>40 hours): 150%

Holiday Allowance: 8.00% gross (calculated on normal hours).

Requirements

• Documentation: Possession of a valid BSN and a clean criminal record application.
• Certificates: Dutch EPT, forklift, and reach truck certificates (essential for specific equipment roles).
• Experience: Affinity with logistics; prior experience working with a hand scanner and reach truck is a strong advantage.
• Personal Traits: Highly accurate, able to set priorities, flexible, quality-oriented, and safety-conscious.
• Availability: Long-term availability.
• Accommodation: Willing to share a room with other tenants
• Partner: Willing to work in different shifts with partner
