As a Special Trailer Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of high-quality trailers. Depending on your specialization, you may work as a Repair Mechanic in our workshop or as a Service Mechanic who also provides support at customer locations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Inspecting vehicles and conducting functional tests.
• Performing maintenance and overhauls per customer specifications (changing fluids, replacing parts, etc.).
• Repairing structural damage and making modifications.
• Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Accurately completing administrative tasks related to work orders.
• Identifying and advising customers about additional service or repair needs.
• Contributing ideas to improve products and processes.

For Service Mechanics, additional tasks include:

• Acting as a Nooteboom ambassador at customer sites and on the road.
• Providing on-site breakdown assistance and participating in on-call services.
• Discussing completed work with customers and ensuring satisfaction.
• Coaching and supporting colleagues and external mechanics.

Job Requirements

• Technical knowledge or affinity with hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanics.
• Relevant work experience in a similar role – at least 1-2 years.
• Independent, precise, and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Driving license B cat. is mandatory, BE cat. is an advantage.
• Willingness to participate in breakdown services (for service mechanics).
