Elektroservice Urk B.V. is looking for an experienced Ship Electrician / Electrical Fitter for a long-term maritime project. You will work on the installation, connection, testing and maintenance of electrical systems on ships, working according to technical drawings, wiring diagrams and cable lists.

Responsibilities

• Installing cable trays, supports and brackets
• Pulling, routing and terminating electrical cables
• Connecting distribution boards and junction boxes
• Installing and connecting lighting and other electrical components
• Connecting motors, pumps, fans and HVAC components
• Reading and working from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and cable lists
• Performing electrical measurements and testing
• Troubleshooting and identifying electrical faults
• Ensuring installations meet quality and safety requirements

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience as a ship electrician, maritime electrician or electrical fitter
• Previous maritime or yacht-building experience is a strong advantage
• Good practical experience with cable installation and electrical connections
• Able to independently read electrical drawings and diagrams
• Experience with testing, measurements and fault finding
• VCA certificate required – agency can arrange this if necessary
• NEN 3140 (VOP/VP) is an advantage but not mandatory
• Able to work independently and accurately
