Italian Restaurant 1611 is looking to expand its team in sunny Zeeland, one of the most beautiful coastal regions of the Netherlands! 

The restaurant (part of a hotel) serves pizzas, pastas, breakfast, and other dishes to hotel guests and is currently looking for experienced workers to join the team for several positions.

They offer a fun and fast-paced environment where candidates can earn money, gain experience, meet people from all over the world, and make lasting memories while enjoying the Dutch summer.

Position: All-Round Hospitality Staff

The restaurant is looking for motivated and energetic individuals to join the team in a variety of roles. 

Job Description:

• Front of House / Service Staff: As a member of our service team, the candidate will be the face of our business — welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and making sure everyone enjoys their time.
• Kitchen Assistant – Cold Kitchen & Pizza Preparation: In the kitchen, candidates focus on the cold side: preparing fresh dishes, making pizzas, and helping with food prep tasks like slicing, mixing, and plating.

Both roles require a team player mentality and the ability to thrive in an international environment.

Job Requirements:

• English at level B1/B2 (Level 4): Able to communicate clearly with colleagues and customers in English.
• Driver’s license (Category B): A valid driver’s license is required (a company car from agency will be provided to travel to and from work).
• Team player in an international environment: Working with people from all over the world — including Poland, Romania, Italy, and China.
• Customer-friendly and professional: Candidates present themselves with a smile, dress neatly, and treat guests and colleagues with respect.
• Stress-resistant: You can keep a cool head and stay efficient, even during busy peak hours.
• Experience in hospitality is a plus, but motivation and a positive attitude are even more important!

The salary for both positions is  €14.06 gross per hour for all ages with the opportunity to work overtime. (If candidates work more than 38 hours per week, they will receive 108% for the extra hours). Accomodation and transportation provided.

Work Conditions:

• Weekly hours: You’ll usually work more than 40 hours per week, although it may start a bit slower in the beginning.
• Flexible schedule: Shifts may vary — you might start early in the morning or later in the day. Working during weekends is also part of the job.
