Join the team at our client's distribution center, a premium provider of retail supply chain operations, large-scale warehousing, and inventory distribution for the grocery sector. Working within a fast-paced, collaborative, and multicultural team, you will ensure a seamless localized supply chain by picking, sorting, and processing high-volume retail inventory based on distribution work orders.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Pick, sort, and process grocery and retail items accurately using handheld scanning equipment.
• Safely operate an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) to maneuver, lift, and stage heavy pallets throughout the facility.
• Conduct continuous quality control checks on handled products.

Note that you will primarily work in a chilled environment at around 4 degrees Celsius.

Apart from the base gross hourly wage, you can earn extra if you choose to move to the deep freeze department for an additional +€1.00 per hour.

Here are the additional allowances and bonus structure:

• Holiday Allowance: 8.33%.
• Overtime Pay: 135% for hours exceeding 40 hours per week.

Shift Bonuses:

• • 200%: Public Holidays
  • 150%: Sundays, Monday–Friday (22:00–06:00), and Saturdays (18:00–06:00)
  • 130%: Saturdays (06:00–18:00)
  • 125%: Monday–Friday (20:00–22:00)

Requirements

• Clean criminal record not older than 6 months from the home country (delivered before arrival);
• Skills: A valid EPT or forklift license is preferred.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and handle repetitive lifting throughout a full shift in a chilled environment.
• Accuracy & Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate scanning, order picking, and quality control checks.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate well within a fast-paced, multicultural team environment.
• Safety Awareness: A proactive mindset regarding warehouse safety regulations, especially when operating machinery or handling inventory.
• Accommodation and Partner: Willing to share rooms with other tenants and work different shifts with your partner.
