Are you an experienced welder looking to develop your skills in orbital welding and work within the high-tech industry?

For Lamers High Tech Systems, we are looking for an experienced or motivated Orbital Welder to work on high-quality piping and welding systems. As an Orbital Welder, you will perform automated orbital welding on high-purity stainless steel and alloy piping systems. You will work in a clean and controlled production environment where precision, quality, and strict technical standards are essential.

The projects are used in demanding industries such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and food processing.

Orbital welding experience is an advantage, but experienced TIG welders who are motivated to learn orbital welding are also welcome to apply. Internal training is available.

Your Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor orbital welding equipment
• Weld high-quality stainless steel and alloy tube and piping systems
• Work with materials such as stainless steel, duplex, and other high-grade alloys
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding instructions
• Perform visual inspections and quality control checks
• Record welding parameters and report results accurately
• Ensure welds meet the required technical and quality specifications
• Work according to applicable safety and quality standards, including ISO requirements
• Maintain a clean, precise, and organized working environment

Requirements:

• Previous professional welding experience
• TIG welding experience is a strong advantage
• Orbital welding experience is an advantage but not essential
• Strong technical understanding
• Experience or knowledge of stainless steel and high-grade alloys
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and welding instructions
• Precise and quality-focused working attitude
• Willingness to complete additional training and obtain relevant certifications
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
