We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join BGM Infra, a specialist in high-voltage infrastructure projects in the Netherlands. You will work as part of a professional team assembling and installing large GIS/GIL high-voltage installations, steel structures, and mechanical components on-site. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for candidates with mechanical assembly experience in heavy industry, process industry, or pipefitting.

Your Responsibilities

• Assemble large mechanical installations and GIS/GIL components.
• Install electrical cabinets and mechanical equipment.
• Build, assemble, and install steel structures.
• Align mechanical installations and supporting steel constructions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to quality standards.
• Follow VCA and other safety regulations while working on-site.
• Work closely with colleagues to complete projects efficiently.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for practical mechanics who enjoy working with tools and assembling large industrial installations. Candidates with 3–5 years of experience are highly encouraged to apply—extensive (10+ years) experience is not required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Pipefitter, or in the heavy/process industry (not very high profile, extensive experience 10+ years of experience is not required)
• Experience with mechanical assembly and installation work.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experience with aligning equipment, steel structures, bolted connections, or heavy mechanical components is an advantage.
• Valid VCA certificate.
• Team player with a strong safety mindset.
