Danish Crown is a leading producer of cooked pork and beef products. Their Haarlem facility focuses on the production and logistics of meat packaging. With a strong emphasis on hygiene, safety, and quality, Danish Crown offers motivated workers the opportunity to grow within the company.

As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for tasks on the packaging and baking lines.

Work is carried out in a food production environment at around 5–6°C, with provided protective clothing (jacket, trousers, gloves, hat, turtleneck; shoes from the agency)

Packaging Department

• Pack consumer units into trade units.
• Ensure correct labelling, expiry date, and packaging accuracy.
• Detecting and removing damaged or empty units.
• Maintain cleanliness and report irregularities.

Baking Line

• Place bacon slices into trays and check quality (color, size).
• Monitor and adjust scales.
• Keep belts, scales, and the workplace clean during breaks and product changes.
• Report product issues or unsafe situations.

Men’s Production Tasks

• Remove bellies and place them in shooters.
• Assist with machine start/stop in consultation with the operator.
• Maintain the cleanliness of cutting machines and workspace.

The salary for this role is €14.40/hour plus several allowances.

(Cold allowance: €0.09/hour, Overtime: After 42 hours/week, Evening shift (18:00–06:00): +31.5%, Saturday: +25% (day) / +31.5% (possibly), Sunday & holidays: +90%).

Work happens in 2 shifts (07:00–16:00 / 16:00–23:00), rotating weekly or bi-weekly.

Working days are Monday through Friday (possible Saturdays), with 40 hours per week. You will be working in a cold environment (~5–6°C)

Requirements

• CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• Previous experience working in a production will be considered a plus.
• Able to work in a noisy and cold environment;
• Must be fit, able to stand all day, no back/feet problems
• Minimum stay of 6 months.
• Hygiene: Strict rules apply — no make-up, nail polish, jewelry, or phones allowed on the floor.
