Are you an experienced machine operator ready for a new challenge? Join a modern production facility in Groningen and work on a brand-new PVC production line. As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality processing of plastic profiles in a dynamic, technical environment. This position is open due to a new expansion project. You will work on a newly built production line focused on processing PVC (plastic) profiles using advanced machinery.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and managing the Schirmer BAZ 1000 machining center***, a specialized machine for processing PVC profiles.

Your tasks include:

• Operating and monitoring the Schirmer BAZ 1000 machine
• Setting up and adjusting machine parameters
• Ensuring consistent production quality and efficiency
• Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting
• Following safety guidelines and production procedures

You will work in a structured 3-shift system and collaborate with a technical team to ensure smooth production processes.

***About the Machine: Schirmer BAZ 1000 is a high-precision machining center used for processing PVC profiles in window and construction systems. It is designed for efficient, automated production with a strong focus on accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a machine operator
• Experience with PVC or similar materials is a strong advantage
• Technical understanding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• English or Dutch language skills required
• Valid driver’s license (B) and own car
