About the Role
This is a dual-responsibility role combining skilled forklift operation with active, floor-level warehouse logistics. As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of the production floor, driving a counterbalance forklift to keep assembly lines stocked, managing incoming freight, and ensuring components move seamlessly through the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Industrial Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Assembly Line Supply: Transport and deliver crucial components directly to assembly workstations to prevent production downtime.
- Inbound & Outbound Freight: Manage the physical loading and unloading of cargo deliveries.
- Order Picking: Precisely pick and prepare targeted logistics orders to support daily production goals.
- Quality & Inventory Checks: Perform accurate quantity counts and visual inspections on all incoming and outgoing parts.
- Physical Floor Support: Manually handle industrial parts when required, occasionally lifting heavier components weighing up to 10 kg.
- Safety & Upkeep: Maintain a spotless, hazard-free environment across both the warehouse and the active production hall.
The role offers an excellent starting pay between €16.27 and €17.00 gross per hour, aligned directly with your previous experience. At the company, you will have the opportunity to work alongside skilled technicians in a modern, well-organized engineering facility.
This is a Long-term, consistent full-time position with a secure industry leader.
Requirements
- Certifications: A valid forklift license/certification is strictly required.
- Experience: Proven practical experience operating a counterbalance forklift in an industrial or warehouse setting.
- Language Skills: A competent, communicative command of the English language (minimum B1 level) to understand technical specifications and coordinate safely.
- Profile: A precise, highly responsible professional who naturally prioritizes occupational safety and accuracy.
