Our client, Kompany B.V. is looking for experienced logistics workers to join their team in the fruit & vegetables sector of their operations. 

Job Overview:

The candidates will be responsible for the sorting, packaging, and order picking of fruit and vegetables, primarily tomatoes and cucumbers, within a large logistics hall. They will be working alongside approximately 20 other colleagues, primarily Dutch and Polish speakers. Additional logistics tasks may be assigned, and during quieter periods, you may be asked to assist with production work. This role requires the operation of an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT).

Responsibilities:

• Sorting, packaging, and order picking of fruit and vegetables (mainly tomatoes and cucumbers).
• Operating an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT).
• Performing additional logistics tasks as required.
• Assisting with production work during periods of less logistical activity.

Requirements:

• English or German language skills (Dutch is also acceptable).
• Willingness to work during the week and on Saturdays.
• Ability to stay in the Netherlands during Easter and Pentecost.
• Commitment to working until the end of the year (holidays are possible).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The salary for the position is  €14.09 per hour. Candidates are guaranteed at least 36 hours per week, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours, spread across 5 or 6 workdays.

Important Notes:

• An Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) certificate is not required initially. We will arrange for you to obtain this certificate shortly after you start.
• During periods of reduced logistical activity, you will be offered alternative work or the option to take holiday.
