Our client is a rapidly growing and innovative company in the waste sector, headquartered in Eindhoven. It operates across the full logistics chain—from waste collection to raw material recovery. The company places a strong focus on efficiency, sustainability, and long-term partnerships. They are currently looking for experienced CE drivers interested in operating hook-lift trucks and working in a mobile, high-responsibility setting.

As a CE truck driver, you will operate a hook-lift system for transporting containers and waste materials across various regions in the Netherlands—from cities to rural areas. Your key responsibilities include:

• Operating a hook-lift truck capable of lifting up to 30 tons
• Securing containers using top nets after loading
• Driving Monday to Friday, sleeping in the truck during the workweek
• Staying in company-provided accommodation during weekends
• Participating in system work (3 weeks on / 1 week off) after training

The work includes a daily schedule of 10–12 hours, with transportation of a wide variety of containerized waste using turning axle trailers (container combi).

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of CE truck driving experience
• Experience with containers, skip loaders, cranes, or construction transport is preferred
• Comfortable with physical work and net securing of containers
• Driving license category CE, Code 95, and a digital tachograph card
• Own car for commuting is a big plus
• Willingness to work public holidays (e.g., Easter, Christmas)
• Vaccination proof for DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Poliomyelitis), or willingness to vaccinate post-trial
• Certificate of Conduct (VOG) required after start

Compensation & Benefits

• During training period (up to 4 weeks):
  • €650–800 net/week (no truck sleeping, includes Saturdays)
• After training, sleeping in the truck:
  • €850–900 net/week
  • Additional €63 net per 24h spent in the truck
• Hourly wage: €19.46 gross, depending on experience
• Bonuses:
  • Overtime (Mon–Fri, above 40h): +30%
  • Saturdays: +50%
  • Sundays: +100%
  • Night hours (21:00–05:00): +19%
  • Coffee money: €0.80 net/hour (during single-day trips)
• Travel allowance: €0.23/km (10–35 km range)

Hiring Process

• Initial interview and driving test at Van Happen
• If successful, participation in Van Happen Academy
• Candidates may be rejected after the driving test
• System work (3/1) starts after successful training period
