We are looking for a technically skilled Assembly Mechanic to work on unique, client-specific trailers for special and heavy transport. In this role, you will assemble new components onto freshly painted chassis and connect hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems. Every trailer is different, so the work is varied and technically interesting. You will work from technical drawings and diagrams, independently and together with your team, while making sure that every component is assembled safely and according to quality standards.

Your responsibilities

• Assembling mechanical components onto trailer chassis
• Building client-specific trailers for special and heavy transport
• Connecting hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
• Reading and working from technical drawings and diagrams
• Installing and adjusting different components
• Performing quality checks on assembled parts
• Working accurately and safely
• Keeping your workplace clean and organized
• Cooperating with colleagues on different stages of the assembly process

Requirements

• Technical background or practical technical experience
• At least 1 year of recent experience with similar assembly work
• Good technical understanding
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and/or electrical systems is a strong advantage
• Able to read technical drawings
• Accurate, safe and tidy working attitude
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Affinity with trailers, trucks or special transport is a plus

What we offer

• Gross wage €17.88–€19.90 per hour, depending on experience
• 40 guaranteed working hours per week
• Working hours from 07:30 to 16:15
