About the Role

As a Warehouse Employee in the Freezer Department, you will become a key player in Udea's specialized cold chain logistics. You will work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment, handling frozen organic goods and ensuring orders are flawlessly prepared for commercial distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick premium organic products using logistics machinery and digital scanning systems.
• Inventory Organization: Efficiently sort, organize, and restock incoming inventory within the freezer zones.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect packages and product integrity to maintain strict food preservation standards.
• Safety Compliance: Keep your designated work areas clean, organized, and compliant with industrial safety regulations.

Th base wage for the salary is €14.71 gross per hour (011.77 gross per hour under 21).

An additional €2.60 per hour added directly onto your base pay for all hours worked in the freezer department!

Generous Shift & Weekend Premiums:

• +25% allowance: Monday to Friday (19:00 – 23:00) and Saturday (15:00 – 23:00).
  • +40% allowance: Monday to Saturday (00:00 – 06:00) and Sunday to Friday (23:00 – 00:00).
  • +50% allowance: Saturday and Sunday late nights (23:00 – 00:00).
  • +100% allowance: Earn double pay (100% premium) on public holidays.

What We Are Looking For

• Language Skills: A communicative level of English or Dutch (minimum B1 level) is required to ensure teamwork and safe floor coordination.
• Logistics Experience: Prior experience working in logistics or a fast-paced warehouse environment is required.
• Machinery Skills: Proven experience operating an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) and/or a Reach Truck is mandatory.
• Cold Tolerance: Full willingness to work in a deep-freeze environment (-20°C).
• Mindset: An detail-oriented, reliable team player who is motivated to deliver precision results.
• Accommodation: Willingness to live in a shared room and share common residential areas like the kitchen and bathroom.
