Van der Griend is looking for an experienced and motivated Sandblaster to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and carrying out blasting work on a variety of metal objects, components, and vehicles. Using blasting cabinets and mobile blasting equipment, you will remove rust, old paint, and contaminants from surfaces, ensuring they are properly prepared for preservation treatments and coating applications.

What You Will Do

• Perform sandblasting work according to safety and quality standards
• Remove rust, paint, coatings, and contaminants from metal surfaces
• Prepare surfaces for preservation treatments and painting processes
• Inspect, maintain, and operate blasting equipment
• Ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects on time
• Follow customer specifications and company procedures

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with sandblasting, grit blasting, or similar blasting work (in last 3 years)
• Good understanding of safety procedures and quality standards
• Accurate and detail-oriented working style
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and motivated attitude
• Willingness to further develop practical and technical skills

Salary & Benefits

• Hourly wage: €17.00 – €18.00 gross per hour***
• Estimated net weekly salary: €450 – €500 (after housing and health insurance deductions)
