About the Role

This dual-focused logistics position beautifully blends classic warehouse order picking with active machinery operation. You will spend approximately 40% of your working time operating a reach truck, with occasional forklift duties, while spending the remainder managing fast-paced inventory flow on the ground. Because you are handling fresh convenience foods, you will work in a modern, climate-controlled warehouse maintained at steady temperatures between 7°C and 12°C.

Key Responsibilities

• Inbound Logistics: Unload arriving delivery trucks smoothly using an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT).
• Precision Order Picking: Locate, track, and scan outbound retail orders using a handheld scanner.
• Machinery Operation: Safely and accurately operate a Reach Truck (40% of the time) and occasionally a forklift to stack and manage high-bay inventory.
• Outbound Logistics: Securely pack, wrap, and prepare transport pallets before loading them onto trucks for European distribution.
• Inventory Care: Ensure all pancake and poffertjes products are stored, rotated, and handled safely under strict quality parameters.

The base salary for the role is €16.47 gross per hour with excellent shift allowances.

• • Evening Hours (18:00 – 01:00): 125% pay (€20.58 gross/hour)
  • Night Hours (01:00 – 05:00 / Saturdays until 06:30): 150% pay (€24.70 gross/hour)
  • Saturdays: 150% to 200% pay (depending on the specific shift schedule)
  • Sundays: 200% pay (€32.94 gross/hour double-time premium)

Transportation to and from the job site completely free via a provided company car or bicycle. (If an electric bike is preferred, a small contribution of just €10 per week applies).

A Dutch language course is fully available for interested employees.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and the confident handling of a reach truck and EPT. Forklift experience is a major bonus.
• Language Skills: Good communication skills in English to coordinate safely within a multicultural team.
