The client is a specialized logistical company focused on the transport and handling of refrigerated, fast-moving consumer goods. Operating out of a completely refrigerated distribution center in 's-Hertogenbosch, the company ensures strict temperature control for goods to maintain maximum freshness, efficiency, and lower stock costs.

Available Roles & Responsibilities

Production Worker (Department B1):

• • Task: Transfer meat from large boxes onto a conveyor belt where it enters shelves for quick freezing.
  • Details: Once on the conveyor belt, the meat freezes automatically and is stacked by machinery operated by a machine operator (you do not touch it after freezing).
  • Environment: Working temperature is around 4°C (or 3-7°C). Proper protective working clothes are provided.

Forklift / Reach Truck Driver (Department C1):

• • Task: Transport "dolavs" away from the production line and place them into the freezing cells.
  • Details: Involves entering freezing cells, for which even warmer professional clothing is provided.

Packaging (Inpak) Department:

• • Task: Receive meat from the conveyor belt, weigh it using a scale (target of 10 kg per box), and pack it into boxes.
  • Schedule: Day shift schedule from 06:00 until around 15:00.
  • Environment: Cool environment ranging between 7–12°C.
• Growth Opportunities: Distrifresh actively encourages learning and offers career growth into roles such as EPT operator, forklift/reach truck driver, or order processing in the system.

Salaries are paid weekly on Fridays. The first payment arrives at the end of your second week, so you must bring sufficient personal funds and food for your initial period (cash advances are not issued).

S3 safety shoes are provided free of charge by Distrifresh.

Shift Options:

• • Standard Production Shifts: 4 days a week, 12-hour shifts (06:00–18:00 or night shifts 18:00–06:00) featuring a 2-hour break, totaling 40 net hours per week with 3 consecutive days off.

Other Schedules: 2-shift (including night shifts) and 3-shift schedules spanning Monday through Sunday.

Allowances & Overtime:

• • Saturday Work: 150%
  • Sunday Work: 200%

Overtime (after 40 hours): 130%

Shift Allowances: 111.25% for 2-shift (with night shift) / 113.75% for 3-shift rotations

Holiday Money: 8.00% gross (calculated on normal hours), paid out weekly with your salary.

Requirements

• Physical Fitness: Ability to handle a physically demanding job.
• Adaptability: Willingness to work with processed meat and comfortable operating in cold environments (averaging 3–7°C).
• Flexibility: Willingness to work with varying starting times across different shifts spanning Monday through Sunday.
• Preparation: Ability to bring sufficient initial financial provisions and food for the first two weeks prior to receiving the first weekly paycheck.
• Accommodation and Partner: Willingness to share a room with other tenants and work in different shift with partner.
• Clean Criminal Record document has to be submitted to work.
