The client is an international family-run food company based in the Netherlands, specializing in the development and production of innovative snack products (such as chocolate-coated nuts, dried fruit, and savory specialties) for retail, foodservice, and B2B customers across Europe.

Job Overview & Responsibilities

As a Production Employee in the production and packing department, you will be responsible for packing sweet and salty snacks and supporting related tasks.

• Refilling and feeding products into production machines.
• Opening products and preparing them for further production.
• Performing quality control checks to ensure product standards are met.
• Packing products and stacking them on pallets.
• Working environment temperature: 18–20°C.

Employees work Monday through Friday across various shift windows:

• • Morning/Early shifts: 05:00 – 14:00 or 06:30 – 14:45
  • Late/Evening shifts: 14:00 – 23:00 or 14:45 – 23:30
  • Night shifts: 23:00 – 05:00 or 23:30 – 06:00

Mandatory Night Shifts: The night shift is mandatory; employees work 6 hours but are paid for 8 hours.

Hour rate: €16,30 gross/hour (€14,99+ 8,75% shift allowance)

In addition to this, you have:

Overtime & Surpluses:

• • Saturday: 150% allowance.
  • Overtime (>40h weekly): 115% allowance.
  • Official State Holidays: 200% allowance.

Requirements

• Language & Literacy: English language proficiency at a minimum A2 level; computer literacy requirement rated at 2.
• Experience: Production experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 10 kg.
• Availability: Minimum availability of 3 months; flexible mentality necessary.
• Hygiene & Safety Rules: No piercings, artificial eyelashes, or artificial nails allowed during working hours. Mandatory training takes place before starting work. Safety shoes with a steel nose are required (can be brought independently or purchased via the company).
• Accommodation and Partner: Willing to share a room with another tenant.
• All candidates have to provide a clean criminal record document or sign, upon arrival, documentation stating they do not have any records in the past.
