Are you looking for a stable, high-earning, long-term position in logistics? Our client in Tilburg is a premier supply chain facility specializing in the distribution of frozen goods for Albert Heijn, the Netherlands’ largest supermarket chain.
As an Order Picker, you will work in a highly specialized, cold-storage warehouse hall where temperatures reach $-24^{circ}C$. Operating with high-tech voice-picking headsets (instructions provided in Polish), you will navigate warehouse aisles to gather frozen retail items like pizzas, ice cream desserts, and seafood. This is an active, physically demanding role suited for motivated individuals who thrive in structured, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Voice Order Picking: Move through warehouse shelving aisles with a rolling container, picking frozen boxes weighing between 0.5 kg and 15 kg based on instructions received via a headset system.
- Pallet & Container Logistics: Accurately arrange and stack products in the correct sequence within the container to ensure safe transport directly to retail stores.
- Performance Metrics: Maintain efficient workflows with an expected performance target of reaching 220 picks per hour after a 4-week onboarding and training period.
The client offers an exceptional, fully loaded hourly rate package to reward team members in this specialized environment:
- Base Rate: €14.98 gross per hour.
- Shift Allowance: +13.75% extra for every single hour worked due to the shift rotation.
- Cold Environment Allowance: €0.26/hour extra (calculated and paid every 4 weeks).
- ADV Allowance: €0.23/hour extra.
- Holiday Accrual: 8% Holiday Allowance (Vakantiegeld) + a minimum of 20 days of paid vacation per year.
- Overtime & Weekend Premiums: * Overtime hours: +30%
- Saturdays: +50%
- Sundays: +100% (Double pay for all hours)
Shift Hours: 07:00–15:00 / 15:00–23:00 / 23:00–07:00 (Sunday night starts at 00:00)

Requirements & Qualifications
- Climate Adaptability: Ability and absolute willingness to work comfortably in a low-temperature environment ($-24^{circ}C$).
- Physical Fitness: Awareness and capability of handling the physical nature of the role (lifting up to 15 kg and continuous movement).
- Commitment: Willingness to commit to a long-term cooperation (1-year contract) and mandatory availability during peak holiday seasons, including Christmas and Easter.
- Mobility: Ability to ride a bicycle, as this is the standard method for commuting from company accommodation to the facility.
- Background Check: Candidates must possess a clean criminal record (eligible for a certificate of no criminal record).
- Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
- Partner: Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
- Prior experience in a similar warehouse position is a distinct advantage, but not strictly mandatory.
