Role and Responsibilities:

Work involves a combination of production line tasks and cleaning production facilities, equipment, and common areas.

• Production Line Tasks (Morning & Afternoon Shifts):
  • Operating high-speed production lines for bacon and gammon products.
  • Packing, weighing, and labeling finished meat products according to strict specifications.
  • Performing quality control checks to ensure all products meet Danish Crown's premium standards.
  • Assisting with the "expedition" and sorting of goods for transport.
• Maintenance Cleaning (Morning & Afternoon Shifts):
  • Maintaining a clean workspace during active production to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Regularly clearing debris, emptying waste bins, and wiping down touchpoints.
  • Disinfecting common areas, canteens, and changing rooms throughout the day.
• Deep Cleaning & Sanitization (Night Shift focus):
  • Performing industrial deep cleans of specialized factory machinery and production lines.
  • Disassembling machine components for thorough sanitization and reassembling them for the next day's production.
  • Using specialized cleaning agents and industrial equipment to scrub floors, walls, and technical installations.
  • Identifying and reporting any equipment defects discovered during the cleaning process.

The salary for the role is €14.71 gross per hour with a 20% shift allowance on top of the base pay for all hours. There's also additional cold allowance (€0.09 per hour) and a driver compensation of €2.50 per day extra for drivers who transport other colleagues.

Employees work in a rotating three-shift system (morning, afternoon, and night), with the night shifts dedicated exclusively to deep cleaning. The work is performed in a cold environment (approx. 5–6°C), and the weekly workload is around 36 hours per week (Monday through Friday).

Within the first year, employees are expected to grow into a "key position" or a "buddy" role. There are also chances to become an all-round cleaning operator or move into different departments within the factory.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic to Intermediate English (B1 level).
• Required (currently hiring female drivers only).
• Must be willing to rotate weekly between all three shifts and perform both production and cleaning tasks.
• Minimum stay of 3 months; long-term interest is preferred.
• No makeup, nail polish, jewelry, or mobile phones are allowed on the work floor.
• Strict adherence to hygiene protocols is mandatory due to food production regulations.
• Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
• Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
