About the Role
Looking for an exciting new opportunity where you can learn a valuable trade? This is an all-around role on the production floor where you will learn all the ins and outs of high-quality food processing and logistics. No prior knowledge of fish is necessary—you will be assigned a personal on-the-job buddy who will guide you and teach you everything you need to know from day one!
Key Responsibilities
- Packing Fish: Work efficiently on a fast-paced packaging line to pack processed fish securely under the guidance of a line operator.
- Fish Processing: Learn specialized skills for catering orders, including descaling, filleting, portioning, and custom retail packaging.
- Order Picking: Gather and prepare finished seafood products in the logistics department for transport to Sligro wholesale stores and direct delivery clients.
- Hygiene & Standards: Take shared responsibility for keeping the workplace clean and strictly following food safety, quality control, and hygienic procedures.
The salary for this role is an attractive hourly base pay (based on age and experience for a 40-hour week):

- 21+ Years Old: €14.71/hour (with 1–3 years of experience) up to €14.77/hour (with 3+ years of experience).
- 20 Years Old: €12.32/hour
- 19 Years Old: €10.98/hour
- 18 Years Old: €9.77/hour
In addition to this, there are attractive bonuses and allowances:

- 8% Holiday Allowance paid on top of your wage.
- Irregular Hours Allowance: Extra premiums ranging from 25% to 100% for specific shift hours.
- Cold Environment Allowance: An extra +€0.49 per hour for working in cooling, or +€1.19 per hour if working in freezer zones.

Working Hours & Environment
This position offers stable, full-time hours within a flexible, alternating two-shift system:
- Morning Shift: Starts between 06:00/08:00 and ends between 14:30/16:30.
- Afternoon/Night Shift: Starts between 13:30/15:30 and ends between 23:00/00:30.
- Environment: The work takes place in a temperature-controlled, cooled facility to maintain product freshness.
Requirements
- Language Skills: A basic command of English (minimum A2 level) OR fluent Polish.
- Experience: Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is a benefit, but not required.
- Adaptability: Full willingness to work in a refrigerated/cold storage environment.
- Accommodation: Willingness to live in a shared room and share common areas like the kitchen and bathroom.
- Partner Flexibility: Readiness to work in separate shifts and departments if you are applying together with a friend or a partner.
