As a Car Mechanic at Auto Oostdijk B.V., you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. This hands-on role involves working on various mechanical and technical systems to guarantee vehicles remain safe and reliable for customers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and repairing engine and drive systems
• Working with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic vehicle systems
• Performing major repairs such as timing belt replacement and cylinder head replacement
• Clutch replacement and gearbox repairs
• Routine maintenance including:
  • Brake pad replacement
  • Oil and fluid service
  • Suspension repair
  • Steering system maintenance
• Ensuring vehicles are inspected, repaired, and tested according to safety and quality standards

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience as a car mechanic
  • Experience with: Axle replacement, Clutch adjustments, Brake servicing, Cylinder head replacement, Gearbox repairs
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic vehicle systems
• Knowledge of drive systems, steering systems, and loading ramps
• Ability to work safely with oils and fluids
• Able to work independently and methodically
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
