Do you enjoy precise technical work and assembling high-quality products in a high-tech environment? For Neways in Echt, we are looking for a Cable Assembly Technician to work on complex cable assemblies used in, among others, ASML machines and defense applications.

Neways is an international technology company active in the semiconductor, defense, and industrial markets. At the location in Echt, you will work with approximately 45 colleagues on high-precision cable assemblies in a structured and professional production environment.

As a Cable Assembly Technician, you are responsible for the complete production process of cable assemblies from start to finish. You work both mechanically and electrically, based on technical drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assembling, modifying, and inspecting complex cable assemblies
• Cutting cables to exact lengths and mounting male and female connectors
• Working with technical drawings and TPD (Technical Product Documentation)
• Operating in a Cleanroom Grade 2 environment
• Identifying deviations and contributing to continuous improvement
• Working in small series-based production batches

What are complex cables?

These are cable assemblies with a large number of internal, color-coded wires that must be connected with high precision. Cable lengths can be accurate to one-tenth of a millimeter, particularly for ASML applications.

Requirements

• Technical MBO level 3 education or equivalent experience
• Preferably candidate with electrician's background
• Experience with fine or precision assembly work
• Ability to read and work according to technical drawings
• Accurate, quality-conscious, and a team player
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with cable assembly is an advantage, but not required; training will be provided

Working hours

• Day shift
• Flexible start times between 06:40 and 09:00
• Finish times between 15:30 and 17:50
• Full-time position

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary between €2,852 and €2,963, depending on experience
• Approximately €460–€500 net per week based on 40 hours
• Permanent contract
