As a Welder (MIG/MAG), you will be responsible for welding steel penetrations on high-end yacht projects. Working in shipyards located in Germany, you will start each day with a briefing and collaborate with preparatory steel workers. The position demands precise welding in multiple positions, based on 3D technical plans. You will live and work in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Weld steel penetrations according to project specifications using MIG/MAG techniques.
- Read and interpret 3D technical drawings from tablets.
- Execute welding tasks in all required positions (including HL-045).
- Collaborate with the team and follow safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a certified MIG/MAG welder (at least 2 years)
- Valid welding certificate conforming to ISO 9606, processes 131, 135, 136, 138.
- Experience on shipyards is a plus.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Physically fit and willing to work long term.
Salary & Compensation
Net Salary (based on experience level and 47 working weeks/year):
- Starter: €560 – €580/week (€26,320 – €27,260/year)
- Experienced: €580 – €620/week (€27,260 – €29,140/year)
- Multi-functional: €620+/week (€29,140+/year)
Salaries are net and paid weekly via bank transfer.
