As a Ventilation Fitter, you will be part of a team working on the construction and installation of air duct systems aboard luxury yachts. Your day begins with a short briefing about the tasks ahead. Using 3D technical plans provided on a tablet, you will assemble and install both square and round (spiro) insulated ducts either independently or with a colleague.
You will be stationed in either the Netherlands or Germany, depending on project requirements. The work is conducted in a single daily shift.
Requirements
- Experience in ventilation fitting or HVAC systems – at least 1-2 years (shipyard experience is an advantage)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Willingness to develop skills and commit long-term
Salary and Career Perspective
- For candidates starting out, the weekly net salary ranges from €540 to €580.
- Experienced fitters may earn €580 to €620 per week.
- Multi-functional workers can earn more than €620 per week.
First Week with the agency
Upon arrival in the Netherlands, agency's coordinator will welcome you and take you to your temporary accommodation. During the first two to three days, you will be introduced to your contact persons and receive practical training at agency's dedicated test and training center.
Accommodation, lunch, and drinks will be provided during training. You will also receive €20 net per training day to help cover initial costs. Agency will assist in obtaining your Dutch citizen number (BSN) and VCA safety certification if needed. At the end of the week, you will move to your long-term accommodation, and one of our team members will accompany you on your first day of work.
