Our client in Dordrecht is an established industry specialist with over 60 years of experience in steel wire ropes and heavy-lifting solutions. Serving sectors such as maritime, ports, and offshore, the company handles production, assembly, inspection, testing, and servicing of lifting equipment.

In this role, you will work hands-on with steel cables and metal components, learning practical technical skills in a structured production environment.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Processing & Cutting: Measure, cut, and prepare steel cables according to specified dimensions.
• Assembly & Finishing: Assemble and finish metal components and steel wire products.
• Equipment Operation: Operate specialized production machinery and utilize hand tools effectively.
• Quality & Safety: Inspect finished products for accuracy and dimensions, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside the production team to carry out general production tasks.

In addition to the base salary, workers receive the following allowances:

• Driver Allowance: Additional €6 net per day for designated company car drivers.
• Travel Allowance: Reiskosten reimbursement for employees using their own transport.
• Benefits & Pension: Holiday allowance (Vakantiegeld) and holiday days (Vakantiedagen), plus immediate enrollment in the StiPP Plus-Pensioen pension scheme from Day 1.

Accommodation: SNF-certified agency accommodation available (up to €149.90 per week, subject to availability); open to candidates with private housing as well.

Support: Coordinator guidance and mobile app access for payslips, contracts, and annual statements.

Candidate Requirements & Preferences

• Skills & Mindset: Interest in technical/hands-on work, strong attention to detail, and willingness to strictly follow workplace safety rules. No prior experience with steel cables required.
• Mobility: Own transport OR a valid Category B driver's license with willingness to drive an agency vehicle.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common areas (kitchen, bathroom)
• Partner: Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
